Dr. William Friedman
Veterinarian/ Owner
Dr. William Friedman is the owner and Veterinarian of Beverly Animal Hospital. He was raised in Brooklyn, NY, and completed his Undergraduate Degree in Biology at the State University of New York at Binghamton. He then completed his Veterinary Degree at the University of Georgia- College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Friedman initially worked as a veterinarian in Georgia, then moved to Maryland and Massachusetts. After living in Massachusetts for a short time, he opened Beverly Animal Hospital in 1991. When he is not working, he enjoys bicycling, working out, gardening, reading, spending time with his family, and watching basketball and football. He and his wife, Robin, are the proud parents of three children: Ben, Nicky, and Jake.

Dr. Heather Shosho
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Heather Shosho joined Beverly Animal Hospital in July 2019. She was born and raised in Winchester, MA and graduated from Champlain College with a B.S. in Public Relations. After graduation she worked for a graduate program at Lesley University located in Cambridge, MA. A few years later she took a job in the animal husbandry field where she decided to pursue her passion for animal medicine and welfare. Dr. Shosho has hand-raised dozens of kangaroos, wallaroos, and wallabies. After receiving her DVM from St. George’s University in 2019, she came back home to Massachusetts where she joined our team.
Dr. Shosho has a senior Chihuahua named Bella, and two senior cats named Loaf and Mini Loaf.

Jackie
Practice Manager
Jackie is the Practice Manager and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since June 2015. In 2012 Jackie graduated from NorthShore Community College with an Associate Degree in Business Administration. In 2014 she graduated from Salem State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Jackie has always had a passion for animals and has worked in the field since childhood. She stays busy with her daughter, husband, and friends when she is not working. Jackie has two cats, Ally and Stitch.

Christine
Veterinary Technician/ Client Care Coordinator
Christine is a Veterinary Technician and Client Care Coordinator and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since June 2008. Christine has always had a passion for animals and has worked in the animal field for 14 years. She also has a certificate in Phlebotomy. Christine loves to spend time with her husband, family, and friends in her spare time. She also enjoys music, art, camping, and crafting. Christine has a cat named Morph Dusseldorf.

Tasha
Veterinary Technician
Tasha is a Veterinary Technician and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since February 2013. She has worked in the animal field for 19 years. When Tasha is not working, she stays busy spending time with her friends, husband, and two children. Tasha has two dogs, a Yorkie named Harley and a Cocker Spaniel Mix named Charlie. She also has three cats named Bubba, Beefy, and Bianca.

Amy
Lead Client Care Coordinator
Amy is the Lead Client Care Coordinator and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since May 2007. She has worked in the animal field for over 20 years. Amy enjoys spending time with her two daughters, husband, and friends. She also enjoys traveling and being at the beach. Amy has two pets; a Poodle Mix named Augie and a Golden Doodle named Ruthie.

Nancy
Groomer
Nancy is an all-breed dog and cat groomer and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since September 1999. She began learning to groom at just nine years old and has been professionally grooming for almost 30 years. Nancy has attended many grooming shows and seminars where she learned different styles of pet and show trims and worked for several professional dog show handlers and breeders. Throughout her career, she has dabbled with pet sitting, dog walking, Pitbull rescue, and pet foster care. Nancy has shown and bred several champion Cocker Spaniels of her own. She currently has two senior Cocker Spaniels named Georgie and Joey. She has her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Simmons College and an Associate Degree in Business Administration from North Shore Community College. Nancy works full-time as a nurse and part-time at Beverly Animal Hospital as a groomer. She utilizes her medical skills when performing medically sedated grooming for special needs pets. Nancy loves NFL football and is an avid Patriots fan.

Jacob
Veterinary Assistant
Jacob is a Veterinary Technicians’ Assistant and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since July 2016. Jacob enjoys telling jokes, running, and spending time with his family and friends. He has a Golden Doodle named Mabel.

Karla
Client Care Coordinator
Karla is a Client Care Coordinator and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since September 1999. She has worked in the animal field for 50 years. Karla taught children and adults horseback riding for 20 years. She has shown and bred American Cocker Spaniels, Irish Jack Russell Terriers, and English Mastiffs for many years. Karla is also skilled in equestrian sports and foxhunting. She has three horses: Pepsi, Whiskey, and Hopi. Karla has five Jack Russel Terriers named Buddha, Nettle, Noodle, Sugar, and Trinket, and one rescue Cockapoo named JoJo.

Jen
Groomer
Jen is a groomer and has worked at the Beverly Animal Hospital since 2016. She has been grooming since 2008. Jen has an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from North Shore Community College and an Associate Degree in Animal Care from North Shore Community College. She has a German Shepherd named Chase. When Jen isn’t grooming, she is a stay-at-home mom to her three children, Meyli, Jaxon, and Travis.
