Dr. William Friedman
Dr. William Friedman is the owner and Veterinarian of Beverly Animal Hospital. He was raised in Brooklyn, NY and completed his Undergraduate Degree in Biology at the State University of New York at Binghamton. He then completed his Veterinary Degree at the University of Georgia- College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Friedman initially worked as a veterinarian in Georgia, then moved to Maryland and then to Massachusetts. After living in Massachusetts for a short time, he opened Beverly Animal Hospital in 1991. When he is not working, he enjoys bicycling, working out, gardening, reading, spending time with his family and watching basketball and football. He and his wife, Robin, are the proud parents of three children: Ben, Nicky and Jake.
Dr. Heather Shosho
Dr. Heather Shosho joined Beverly Animal Hospital in July 2019. She was born and raised in Winchester, MA and graduated from Champlain College with a B.S. in Public Relations. After graduation she worked for a graduate program at Lesley University located in Cambridge, MA. A few years later she took a job in the animal husbandry field where she decided to pursue her passion for animal medicine and welfare. Dr. Shosho has hand raised dozens of kangaroos, wallaroos, and wallabies. After receiving her DVM from St. George’s University in 2019, she came back home to Massachusetts where she joined our team.
Dr. Shosho has a senior mixed breed dog named Angie, and two senior cats names, Loaf and Mini Loaf.
Jackie is the Practice Manager and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since June 2015. In 2012 , Jackie graduated NorthShore Community College with an Associate Degree in Business Administration. In 2014 she graduated Salem State University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Jackie has always had a passion for animals and has worked in the field since a young teen. When she is not working, she stays busy spending time with her daughter, husband and friends. Jackie has two senior cats, Ally and Stitch.
Certified Veterinary Technician
Erin is a Certified Veterinary Technician and has been working at the Beverly Animal Hosptial since 2022. She has worked in the animal field for over 10 years at various hospitals and an emergency facility. In 2015 Erin graduated Northshore Community College with her Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology. She has a Betta fish named Lady. When Erin isn’t working, she enjoys making jewelry and learning about cars, crystals and plants.
Bonnie is a Certified Veterinary Technician and has been working at the Beverly Animal Hospital since 2022. She has worked in the animal field for over 20 years at various hospitals and shelters. In 2007 Bonnie graduated Holyoke Community College with her Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology and Science and Math. She has a Cattle Dog Mix named Ellie and two cats named Malcolm Mighty Mouth and Ezekiel. When Bonnie isn’t working, she loves reading, hiking, painting, and loves learning about medical or fantasy related things.
Christine is a Veterinary Technician and Client Care Coordinator and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since June 2008. Christine has always had a passion for animals and has worked in the animal field for 14 years. She also has a certificate in Phlebotomy. Christine loves to spend time with her husband, family and friends on her spare time. She also enjoys music, art, camping and crafting. Christine has a cat named Morph Dusseldorph and a Labrador Retriever named Buoy.
Tasha is a Veterinary Technician and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since February 2013. She has worked in the animal field for 19 years. When Tasha is not working, she stays busy spending time with her friends, husband and two children. Tasha has two dogs, a Yorkie named Harley, and a Cocker Spaniel Mix named Charlie. She also has two cats, named Beefy and Bianca.
Alex is a Veterinary Technician and has been working at the Beverly Animal Hospital since 2023. She has worked in the animal for over 5 years at various hospitals as well as a Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Florida. In 2017 Alex graduated North Shore Community College with her Associates Degree in Criminal Justine. In 2021 she graduated Penn Foster with her Associates in Veterinary Technology. Alex has two cats named Cheeto and Marceline, a Dachshund named Hank and a Jack Russel Terrier named King. When Alex isn’t working, she enjoys playing with her son, hiking trails, being at the beach, traveling and watching sports.
Amy is the Lead Client Care Coordinator and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since May 2007. She has worked in the animal field for over 20 years. Amy enjoys spending time with her two daughters, husband and friends. She also enjoys traveling and being at the beach. Amy has two pets, a Poodle Mix named Augie and a Goldendoodle named Ruthie.
Nancy is an all-breed dog and cat groomer and has been working here at Beverly Animal Hospital since September 1999. She began learning how to groom at just nine years old and has been grooming professionally for almost 30 years. Nancy has attended many grooming shows and seminars at which she learned different style pet and show trims, as well as working for several professional dog show handlers and breeders. She has dabbled with pet sitting, dog walking, Pitbull rescue, and pet foster care throughout her career. Nancy has shown and bred several champion Cocker Spaniels of her own. She has her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Simmons College and an Associate Degree in Business Administration from North Shore Community College. Nancy currently works full time as a nurse and part time at Beverly Animal Hospital as a groomer. Here she utilizes her medical skills when performing medical sedated grooming for special needs pets. Nancy loves NFL football and is an avid Patriots fan.
Jacob is a Veterinary Technicians Assistant and has been working at Beverly Animal Hospital since July 2016. Jacob enjoys telling jokes, running, and spending time with his family and friends. He has a Goldendoodle named Mabel.
Karla is a Client Care Coordinator and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since September 1999. She has worked in the animal field for 50 years. Karla taught children and adults horseback riding for 20 years. She has shown and bred American Cocker Spaniels, Irish Jack Russell Terriers, and English Mastiffs for many years. Karla is also skilled in equestrian sports and foxhunting. She has three horses: Pepsi, Whiskey, and Hopi. Karla has five Jack Russel Terriers named, Buddha, Hattie, Nettle, Noodle, and Sugar.
Jen is a groomer and has worked at the Beverly Animal Hospital since 2016. She has been grooming since 2008. Jen had an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from North Shore Community College and an Associate Degree in Animal Care from North Shore Community College. She has a five-year-old German Shephard named Chase. When Jen isn’t grooming, she is a stay-at-home mom to her three children, Meyli, Jaxon and Travis.
