Dr. William Friedman
Veterinarian/ Owner

Dr. William Friedman is the owner and Veterinarian of Beverly Animal Hospital. He was raised in Brooklyn, NY and completed his Undergraduate Degree in Biology at the State University of New York at Binghamton. He then completed his Veterinary Degree at the University of Georgia- College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Friedman initially worked as a veterinarian in Georgia, then moved to Maryland and then to Massachusetts. After living in Massachusetts for a short time, he opened Beverly Animal Hospital in 1991. When he is not working, he enjoys bicycling, working out, gardening, reading, spending time with his family and watching basketball and football. He and his wife, Robin, are the proud parents of three children: Ben, Nicky and Jake.

Tasha

Veterinary Technician

Tasha is the lead veterinary technician at Beverly Animal Hospital.  She has worked here for over a decade and has experience in the field for over 20 years.  Her knowledge of animal health has helped her become the hospital’s lead surgical tech as well as a trainer and role model for the other employees.  When Tasha is not working, she stays busy spending time with her family and pets.  Tasha’s passion for animals has left her with a dog named Charlie and 4 cats Beefy, Balou, Birdy and Benny.  She very well could be considered a crazy cat lady!

Nancy
Groomer

Nancy is an all-breed dog and cat groomer and has been working here at Beverly Animal Hospital since September 1999. She began learning how to groom at just nine years old and has been grooming professionally for almost 30 years. Nancy has attended many grooming shows and seminars at which she learned different style pet and show trims, as well as working for several professional dog show handlers and breeders. She has dabbled with pet sitting, dog walking, Pitbull rescue, and pet foster care throughout her career. Nancy has shown and bred several champion Cocker Spaniels of her own. She has her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Simmons College and an Associate Degree in Business Administration from North Shore Community College. Nancy currently works full time as a nurse and part time at Beverly Animal Hospital as a groomer. Here she utilizes her medical skills when performing medical sedated grooming for special needs pets. Nancy loves NFL football and is an avid Patriots fan.

Jacob

Veterinary Assistant

Jacob is a Veterinary Technicians Assistant and has been working at Beverly Animal Hospital since July 2016. Jacob enjoys telling jokes, running, and spending time with his family and friends. He has a 3-year-old Goldendoodle named Mabel who is his best friend. He loves to spend time with her and take her on walks.

Karla
Client Care Coordinator

Karla is a Client Care Coordinator and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since September 1999. She has worked in the animal field for 50 years. Karla taught children and adults horseback riding for 20 years. She has shown and bred American Cocker Spaniels, Irish Jack Russell Terriers, and English Mastiffs for many years. Karla is also skilled in equestrian sports and foxhunting. She has three horses: Pepsi, Whiskey, and Hopi. Karla has five Jack Russel Terriers named, Buddha, Hattie, Nettle, Noodle, and Sugar.

Jen
Groomer

Jen is a groomer and has worked at the Beverly Animal Hospital since 2016. She has been grooming since 2008. Jen had an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from North Shore Community College and an Associate Degree in Animal Care from North Shore Community College. She has a five-year-old German Shephard named Chase. When Jen isn’t grooming, she is a stay-at-home mom to her three children, Meyli, Jaxon and Travis.

Angie

Practice Manager

Angie is Beverly Animal Hospital’s practice manager who has been working here since July 2024. She worked in customer service for a different hospital in 2018 and has seen both sides of the veterinary field. Angie took some time away from the field to focus on obtaining an associate’s degree from Middlesex in Business Administration. She then attended Bentley University on a full-merit scholarship where she graduated Magna cum Laude in 2023 with a B.S. in Business. Her interests include music, travel, audiobooks, adventures, and crafts. He has a red classic tabby named Nugget who was born in March 2018. She has had Nugget since he was 6 weeks old; in Fall 2018 he won 2nd place “Best Household Pet” at the New England Meow Outfit, Inc cat show.

McKeane

Veterinary Technician

McKeane is a Veterinary Technician who has been assisting our doctor since September 2024. She has experience as a shelter technician, a veterinary assistant, and managing a boarding kennel. She has a career diploma in dog obedience training. She enjoys reading and spending time with her many different pets. Her pack includes Brady who’s a 7-year-old Mastiff, Julian who’s a 2-year-old Frenchie, Greta who’s a German Shepherd, Gracie who’s a 4-year-old Pitbull, Kit-cat who’s a 8-year-old kitty, and Penny, a 4-month-old French Lop bunny.

Marah
Client Care Coordinator

Marah started as a Client Care Specialist at Beverly Animal Hospital in October 2024. She has over 10 years of experience in customer service as well as working in doggy daycares. She was an attentive dog sitter for 5+ years and deeply values being surrounded by animals. She has a 4-year-old Schnauzer mix named Moose and a 13-year-old Lhasa Apso mix named Uncas. Her interests include being with friends, taking her dog to new places, and cuddling with him on the couch.

Lydia
Client Care Coordinator

Lydia started as a Client Care Specialist at Beverly Animal Hospital in November 2024. She has previous experience as a veterinary receptionist. She also has strong animal skills from working as a kennel attendant. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, rock climbing, watching movies and playing with her dog. She has one dog named Red who’s a 9-year-old lab mix. She also has two parakeets named Reese and Jeremiah, who are both 2-years-old.
