A microchip is a tiny device that is implanted under your pet’s skin. It contains a unique ID number that can be read by a special scanner. If your pet ever gets lost, the microchip can help us reunite you two.

Microchipping is quick and easy – it only takes a few minutes and doesn’t require anesthesia. We simply insert the chip under your pet’s skin with a needle. There is no surgery involved.

The microchip itself is about the size of a grain of rice and is harmless to your pet. In fact, most pets don’t even feel the needle when it’s being inserted.

After the microchip is implanted, you will need to register the chip with your contact information. This way, if your pet is ever lost and scanned for a microchip, we will be able to quickly get in touch with you.

We recommend that all pets be microchipped, especially if they are outdoor pets or if they travel frequently. Microchipping is one of the best ways to ensure that you and your pet will be reunited if you’re ever separated.
