Dr. William Friedman is the owner and sole veterinarian at Beverly Animal Hospital. He has owned the practice for 25 years. Dr. Friedman was raised in Brooklyn, NY and completed his Undergrad Degree in Biology at the State University of New York. He then completed his Veterinary Degree at the University of Georgia- College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Friedman initially worked as a Veterinarian in Georgia, then moved to Maryland and then to Massachusetts. After living in Massachusetts for a short time, he decided to open his own Veterinary Practice. In 1991 Beverly Animal Hospital was opened. When Dr. Friedman is not working, he enjoys bicycling, working out, reading, spending time with his family and watching basketball and football. He is a proud parent of three children; Ben, Nicky and Jake. His oldest two children are in college and his youngest son is a senior in high school.
Jackie is the Practice Manager and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since June 2015. In 2012 Jackie graduated NorthShore Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. In 2014 Jackie graduated Salem State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Jackie was born in Lynn, MA and moved to Billerica, MA at a young age. She now resides in Tewksbury, MA with her husband and three children. She has a passion for animals and has worked at animal hospitals since a young teen. Jackie has two cats, Ally and Stich, both of which are three years old.
Christine is the Head Veterinary Technician and has worked at Beverly Animal Hosptial since June 2008. Christine has worked in the animal field for over 10 years. She also has a certificate in Phlebotomy. Christine loves to spend time with her family and friends on her spare time. She also enjoys music, art, camping and crafting. Christine has 3 animals- a pug named Pancake, a Rat Terrier named Toby and a cat named Morph Dusseldorph.
Tasha is a Senior Veterinary Technician and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since February 2013. She has worked in the animal field for 15 years. When Tasha is not working, she stays busy spending time with her friends, husband, 5 year old daughter and new born son. Tasha has 2 dogs, a Yorkie named Harley, and a Cocker Spaniel Mix named Charlie. She also has 3 cats, named Bubba, Beefy and Bianca.
Bianca Piemonte is a Veterinary Technician and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since December 2014. In 2012 Bianca graduated Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Psychology. In 2014 Bianca completed a Technician certification program at Massasoit Community College. Bianca has a true passion for animals and helping them in any way she can. She enjoys the outdoors, cooking, traveling, painting, going to the movies, reading books and learning about plants. Bianca has 3 pets- a geeko, turtle and an axolotl.
Tarsha is a Veterinary Technician and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since September 2017. Tarsha graduated from Essex Agricultural and Technical School with a degree in Animal Science and has worked in the animal field for over 10 years. Aside from her strong love for animals, Tarsha enjoys going for walks by the beach and spending time with her four year old son, Aiden, and her family and friends. Tarsha has 3 animals, a Bichon named Bella, a German Shephard Lab Mix named Neiko and a cat named Maddie. Tarsha’s favorite quote is “life is too short and tomorrow is not a guarantee, so do what makes you happy, be with those who make you smile, and love life.”
Amy is the Head Receptionist and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since May 2007. Amy has worked in the animal field for 20 years. Amy has two teen daughters that keep her quite busy, but on her spare time, she likes to camp, cook and go on her sister’s boat. Amy has 2 animals, a Ragdoll named Phoebe and a Soft Wheaten Terrier named Chloe.
Karla is a Receptionist and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since September 1999. Karla has worked in the animal field for 45 years. Karla taught children and adults’ horseback riding for 20 years. She showed and bread American Cocker Spaniels and Irish Jack Russell Terriers for many years also. Karla is skilled in equestrian sports and foxhunting. Karla has 3 horses: Eagle, Dabble and Hopi, as well as 8 dogs: Buddha, JoJo, Lola, Trinket, Tut, Lorelei, Dixie and Noodle.
Janet is a Receptionist and has worked at Beverly Animal Hospital since October 1996. On top of the many years of animal experience Janet has, she also has 40 years of legal experience, working as a paralegal. Janet enjoys long walks along the beach and loves the Boston Red Sox. She has a 6 year old Schnauzer named Jacoby.
